All our wood comes from sustainable sources, including woodlands, managed tree thinning and country estates.  We are the main area stockists of “Peat Heat”, which is 100% burning peat,  and we also supply Kindling. Please contact us for prices on any of our products. 

Burning Peat 

Our 100% burning peat is available in 20Kg bags and is suitable for use on multi-fuel stoves and open fires, it generates a very high temperature. The peat can either be burnt on its own or mixed with our wood.   Combining both fuels is a particularly effective method for keeping fires going over-night or for extended periods of time.

 

 

Peat has low atmospheric emissions and is clean and easy to handle. So why not enjoy burning real Scottish peat in your home today? Kiln Dried Logs

We offer our kiln dried Ash logs, cut to 11 inches long, ready for immediate use, supplied in mini and large bulk bags as well a large loose bulk loads.  Ash is said to be one of the best woods for burning.  The logs produce a steady flame and excellent heat output.  These logs are recommended for all open fires, stoves, wood burners and pizza ovens.  The kiln dried logs have a low moisture content which means less energy is lost evaporating moisture so more energy is emitted as heat.  They produce a very clean burn.

 

Barn Dried Logs

Our seasoned hardwood is naturally air-dried and is a mixture of species ready for immediate use.  The logs are cut to approximately 9 ½  inches long and recommended for use in all types of fires and stoves.  All the species provide excellent heat output and burn very efficiently.
